VE Alliance: Stan Halle

Stan Halle provides ViTAL Economy (VE) client communities with change management expertise to ensure that challenges are addressed and opportunities are realized. Stan applies the best available models, processes, and training acquired from decades of work in systems theory, organizational development, and change management.  He has served as a mentor/executive coach to both emerging growth and mature organizations in the private, public and non-profit sectors nationally and internationally.  His company, Heifetz, Halle Consulting Group (HHCG), which he co-founded, recently closed its doors, after nearly 29 years as a pioneer in the change management field.

photo_team4HHCG has spent 25 years creating and implementing change management services for governments and firms. It was founded in June 1987 by Michael Heifetz and Stan Halle, both of whom have extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Laurel Heifetz joined the firm in the early 1990’s. After spending many years working for other consulting firms, these principals wanted to establish a new approach that treats each client’s needs as unique, openly shares tools and techniques and provides support throughout the entire change implementation process. When Stan’s partners decided to retire last year, closing HHCG was a logical next step.

Stan has worked in the fields of change management, strategic planning and organizational effectiveness for more than 35 years. His education includes a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. He leads VE’s change management services and has introduced HHCG’s integrated Change Management Technology (CMT) into various VE client communities. CMT has been successfully used to build more effective VE initiative leadership boards, communities of interest, industry cluster teams and action teams.

Stan specializes in building compelling visions, translating vision into action, overseeing mergers & acquisitions, designing & implementing partnerships and alliances, building alignment within teams and across sectors, reengineering processes and fostering greater individual and team effectiveness.

Stan has written a number of articles for APICS Magazine (American Production & Inventory Control Society) on paradigm shifts and various change management topics. Stan has run workshops and seminars at numerous meetings and was featured on Forbes Sky Radio’s Best Consultants in America in 2003.
